Calling on Detective Sherlock Holmes to a very important mystery case to be solved. This is a classified cold case (#NZ4893) filed as: Mysterious Disappearance of Advent. Parishioners had been called and interviewed, as well as various clergy. Equally baffling is how Advent, during the period after Thanksgiving until Christmas, would be seen among the crowds at weekend Masses, then gone! It remains unclear as if whether Advent was kidnapped, held hostage, a runaway, or… With Advent awol, we asked Santa Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Grinch, Frosty, and the others clearly present and easily found. Perplexing is the presence of the infant Jesus already after Thanksgiving too!

Since the case brought up conflicting sources of evidence, Detective Holmes had no choice but to call upon his trusted assistant, Dr. John H. Watson. The case, as agreed by both Detective Holmes and Dr. Watson, is a “cold case.” The case remains open, unsolved, and investigations exhausted.

The question for you is: if you see Advent in your homes or in the places you go from the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas, that would be a sign of hope! This will be so reassuring to all of us, especially Detective Holmes and his assistant that Advent may still be alive. The reward on finding Advent will not be monetary, but a return to normalcy for the sake of humanity. Please pray for the safe return of Advent so it can be with us again.
